Dr. Alejandro Esteller, a researcher at the IEB, has been awarded with the possition of Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Barcelona. Alejandro Esteller is an expert in public economics and tax federalism, a field in which he has been the author of numerous scientific publications in academic journals.
Over the last few years, he is focusing most of his research on the tax system, as Director of the IEB research program in tax system analysis. He has been a professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University since 1996 and a researcher at the IEB since its fundation.
