The next edition of the Workshop on The Economics of Taxation will be jointly organised by the EU Tax Observatory and the IEB. The workshop will be held at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Barcelona from May 31st to June 1st, 2023.

We welcome empirical and theoretical submissions on any topic in the field of taxation, especially contributions dealing with tax evasion and avoidance behaviour, tax enforcement policies, mobility of taxpayers, profit-shifting, redistribution, and inequality. Non-exhaustive list of topics of interest:

Tax evasion and avoidance strategies by firms and individuals

Linkages between taxation and income/wealth inequality
