This year’s workshop will focus on challenges to the welfare state and their potential solutions. We invite submissions of theoretical and empirical papers on the evaluation of policies that affect the public sector either on the revenue or on the expenditure side. In particular, the workshop will focus around topics related to behavioural responses to taxation, mobility, the design of tax enforcement, tax harmonization, and social expenditure policies such as pensions, unemployment, and health, among others.
Manuscripts must be submitted by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) in PDF format indicating in the subject the name of the workshop.
Each paper can only be submitted to one of the two workshops.
Attendance is free for presenters and it includes coffee breaks, lunches and the conference dinner.
Some limited funding for accommodation might be available for PhD students. PhD students who are interested in this funding should express their interest in the submission email.
