Presentación

To reconcile sustainable economic growth and fighting climate change, it is necessary to transform the current energy model. The energy transition to a low carbon energy system and its implications in terms of security of supply and industrial competitiveness it has become as one of the society greatest challenges in the coming years. The Symposium will try to shed light on the role of markets and networks in facing the trade-offs derived for the energy transition. Within this context, authors are invited to submit empirical papers with policy implications regarding the economics of oil, gas or electricity sector.
