Postponement Notice (Updated: March 19, 2020)
Due to the escalating Coronavirus pandemic we unfortunately have to postpone the UEA Summer School that we were planning to run in Barcelona from June, 8-10 2020. We are currently looking at options to run the summer school later this summer either in September or October.
If you are interested in attending the 2020 summer school you can continue to submit applications to the summer school using the procedure outlined below also after March, 20 2020. We will provide an update on our plans for the summer school as soon as possible and at the latest by the end of April 2020. We hope you stay safe over the next weeks and that we see you later this summer.

The UEA Summer School is designed for PhD students with an interest in urban economics including inter alia housing, real estate, transportation, local public good provision, the spatial distribution of activities, economic geography, and urban or regional policy. The objective of the summer school is to offer an intensive training program for interested PhD students. The summer school will provide an opportunity for students to learn about the research frontier in urban economics, discuss their own research with leading researchers in the field in a relaxed and open atmosphere and meet some of the future stars in the field.
