The IEB to organize a symposium to examine Spain’s tax system

Richard Blundell

The meeting will be on the 4 and 5 of December and the keynote will be Richard Blundell.

The Barcelona Economics Institute (IEB) will host academics and professionals from both the public and private sectors to examine the current situation of Spain’s tax system and to debate whether the best course of action is to introduce piecemeal changes or undertake wholesale reform. The symposium will be held on the 4 and 5 of December in Gaudi’s La Pedrera building in Barcelona. The keynote will be Richard Blundell, Professor at the University College London and editor of the Mirrlees Review. Further details about the symposium, organized specifically for academics, policy makers and consultants from around the country, will be made available on this web site.
