The recently created Fiscal Federalism Observatory has just published its Anuari d’Hisenda Local (the Local Finance Yearbook) in collaboration with the Democracy and Local Government Foundation. Núria Bosch, professor of Public Finance at the University of Barcelona and member of the IEB, and Maite Vilalta, professor of the Department of Economics at the University of Barcelona and also member of the IEB, are the directors of the Observatory and have coordinated this new yearbook.
This first edition includes articles by the directors, as well as by Francisco Pedraja, professor of Applied Economics at the University of Extremadura; Luiz de Mello, director of the Department of Economics at the OECD; Juan José Rubio, professor of Public Finance at the University of Castilla-La Mancha; Paula Salinas, co-founder and director of KSNET and associate professor at the Department of Economics and Economic History of the Autonomous University of Barcelona; and Pere A. Taberner, researcher at KSNET and PhD student at the University of Barcelona.
This periodical publication will address the study of issues related to the finances of local governments in our country. It also consolidates and expands the range of publications of the Democracy and Local Government Foundation, which includes the journals Cuadernos de Derecho Local, the Anuario del Gobierno Local, the Anuario de Transparencia Local and the Anuario del Buen Gobierno y de la Calidad de la Regulación.
