The IEB’s 2021 annual report, an exhaustive summary of the institute’s twentieth anniversary

The Barcelona Economics Institute (IEB) has just published its annual report reviewing all the institute’s activities over the course of 2021, the year that marked its twentieth anniversary.

The report focuses especially on the IEB’s main activities and its raison d’être: research. Studies by the institute’s researchers have appeared in JCR-listed and other academic journals, as well as books and book chapters. Publications and activities of a more informative nature are also detailed.

Among many other topics, the report also gives an account of the events organized throughout the year, for example the seminars held and events such as the IEB Annual Symposium on Energy Sustainability and our Summer Workshops in Political Economy, Public Policies: gender and health, and Taxation. It also records that for the first time the IEB organized the Annual Conference on Urban and Regional Economics, in conjunction with the CEMFI and the CEPR.

All this and much more is covered in this IEB Report 2021, which is presented in a completely redesigned and fully interactive new format to enhance its readability.
