Associate Professor Judit Vall joins the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics as associate editor

Associate Professor Judit Vall, a researcher at the Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB), has been appointed associate editor by the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics. Along with her colleagues, Professor Vall will be responsible for the Health Economics section. The invitation was made by Pablo Brañas-Garza, chief editor of the journal and Director of the Loyola Behavioral Lab.

The Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics is a bimonthly academic journal that covers behavioral and experimental economics. It was created in 1972 as the Journal of Behavioral Economics, and was renamed the Journal of Socio-Economics in 1991. It received its current name in 2014.

The Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics publishes articles that address various economic issues related to other social sciences, especially psychology. It is a leading journal in the fields of in behavioral economics, experimental economics, economic psychology, and judgment and decision making.

Judit Vall is an expert in policy evaluation, particularly in the areas of health and labour economics. As well as being a member of the IEB, Judit Vall is associate professor at the Department of Economics at the University of Barcelona and associate researcher at the Center for Research in Economics and Health at Pompeu Fabra University.
