Guillem Riambau, researcher at the Barcelona Institute of Economics, has been appointed as an associate professor at the University of Barcelona. Dr Riambau is a member of the Department of Economics in the Section of Political Economy, Public Economy and Spanish Economy at the Faculty of Economics and Business.
Professor Riambau’s research career has focused on political and behavioural economics. In his different lines of work, he investigates aspects such as electoral behaviour, altruism and honesty.
Highlights of his professional career include his PhD from Boston University (2012), three scholarships as a principal investigator awarded by the Ministry of Education of Singapore, and stays at the London School of Economics, the University of British Columbia and the National University of Singapore.
