We are delighted to announce that the 11th edition of the biennial Workshop on Political Economy will take place in Barcelona on June 2-3, 2025 (Monday and Tuesday).

The workshop will bring together researchers to discuss recent advances in political economy, with a focus on the interactions between political actors—such as voters and elected officials—, culture, and history with political institutions, and economic outcomes, broadly defined. We invite researchers working on these or closely related topics to submit their manuscripts.

We welcome both theoretical and empirical contributions, including studies focused on developed and developing countries. The program will feature a plenary keynote session alongside presentations of accepted papers. We look forward to your submissions and to an engaging exchange of ideas on the latest research in political economy.
