The IEB researcher, Amedeo Piolatto, has been awarded one of the five prestigious Ramón y Cajal grants open in the category of Economy. The research support program, offered by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness, is one of the most requested of the state. This year, more than 40 economic researchers have presented their projects to opt for the available aids for their area of research.
Amedeo Piolatto is a researcher at the IEB since 2010 and has focused on analyzing the economic interactions between the three main economic agents: citizens, the public sector and markets. His subjects of specialization are related to the Public Economy, the Political Economy, the Political Sciences and the Industrial Organization.
