The president of the Institute for Economic Research (IFO) and professor at the University of Munich, Clemens Fuest, will be the keynote speaker at the Fiscal Forum 3.0 which the Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB) will hold on May 10 at the Palau Macaya in Barcelona.
Fuest is one of the most prestigious economists in Europe. In his career he has combined his work as a teacher and researcher at the universities of Oxford, Mannheim and Munich and held posts in such institutions as the German Ministry of Finance and the presidency of IFO, one of the most influential research groups on the continent.
In his speech at the Fiscal Forum, Fuest will deliver a paper entitled “The harmonization of corporate tax”.
