Presentació

The Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB) is pleased to announce its IV Summer School in Public Economics that will be devoted to immigration and public policy. Within this broad theme there will be two parts: the economic effects of immigration, and the consequences of segregation (along the racial or ethnic dimension). The objective of the course is twofold: to offer an intensive training program for interested PhD students, and to provide young scholars with the opportunity to discuss their own ongoing research with leading researchers in the field in a relaxed and open atmosphere. Students will have the opportunity to present their research work at sessions attended both by the invited lecturers, the organizing committee and IEB researchers.
